Do you ever feel like you’re so focused on your ultimate vision, the end goal of all the work you’re doing to move your business forward, that you get frustrated when you look around and you’re not there yet?
I think of this as “Are We There Yet?” Syndrome, and I’m very familiar with it. I’ve had this disease since I was about 9 years old.
Do you ever have the feeling that there are too many things to do every day but there simply isn’t time to do them all? Or the energy to do them all well? I hate that feeling, and yet, the older I get the more I realize that it’s kind of a reality of life.
One of my mentors, Dallas Travers, says, “You can have it all, but you can’t have it all at once.” I am definitely a “want it all at once” kind of girl. I want to write a book, write a play script, produce a film, and cook great food all at once – and I want it done yesterday!
So, Twitter. It can feel overwhelming to even know where to start when it comes to engaging your online audience through Twitter, but it’s important. After all, your fans and clients are hanging out all over the social media bird and they’re talking about things that are relevant to their lives.
